Agency History

Hunter Insurance was founded in 1989 with two employees and represented four insurance companies. The agency has grown to 13 employees and represents over 15 insurance companies. We serve more than 6,000 families and businesses in Southern New England. In spring 2002, Hunter Insurance moved into its new facility at 389 Old River Road in the Manville section of Lincoln. In 2005, Hunter Insurance became the first and only agency in Rhode Island to receive the Five Star Award of Distinction.
